Senior CSfC Systems Engineer - Remote in the United States

Design and deploy secure VMware data center networks for CACI International’s defense customers. Support classified networking operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer-site implementations.

Description

  • Translate customer business needs into architecture and design documentation
  • Create and carry out proof-of-concept and deployment acceptance testing, including test reports
  • Prepare implementation guides, configuration templates, and deployment plans
  • Execute complex deployment plans and support engineering teams during implementation
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Evaluate software and hardware defects and document findings
  • Assess, support, and perform code upgrades for CSfC enclaves
  • Debug systems and isolate complex problems
  • Analyze system requirements, development processes, design approaches, and re-engineering needs
  • Design integrated IT system architectures spanning platforms, operating systems, and applications
  • Define system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware and software compatibility requirements
  • Coordinate subsystem designs and end-to-end system integration
  • Identify, analyze, and correct program support deficiencies
  • Create and document frameworks for changes to technical standards
  • Support the development and administration of architecture governance processes
  • Provide remote and on-site customer support during product deployment and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with 10+ years of related experience, or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) 6.x Data Center Virtualization (DCV) certification with 10+ years of related experience
  • Advanced expertise in VMware virtualization technologies
  • Expertise with VMware Server Virtualization, VDI, vSAN, and vROPS
  • Experience with Virtual Distributed vSwitches and virtual networking technologies
  • Experience with Ethernet switching, TCP/UDP protocols, and load balancing technologies
  • Experience deploying or maintaining OEM products from Dell, EMC, Cisco, and SonicWall
  • Knowledge of data center architecture and design principles
  • Experience producing written technical documentation
  • Experience with NSA CSfC or related cross-domain technologies
  • Extensive experience with U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community policies and protocols
  • Secret clearance required at the start of employment
  • Top Secret clearance preferred and required for continued employment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including to CONUS and OCONUS customer sites
  • Ability to deploy quickly to customer locations across the United States and worldwide Department of Defense installations
