Senior Business Development Manager, U.S. Government Satellite Communications (Texas Remote)

Drive Eutelsat Network Solutions’ satellite communications and aviation growth across U.S. government, defense, intelligence, and allied markets. Manage federal opportunities, capture activities, customer engagements, and mission-focused research.

Description

  • Support Eutelsat Network Solutions’ strategic growth across U.S. government, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and allied markets, with an emphasis on aviation business development
  • Identify opportunities, manage the pipeline, support capture activities, monitor customer engagement, and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve the federal opportunity pipeline
  • Track customer engagements, capture milestones, and program updates involving DoD, IC, and allied organizations
  • Collect, consolidate, and evaluate customer requirements
  • Create opportunity summaries, qualification reviews, and internal decision materials
  • Maintain NetSuite CRM records and data quality across leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
  • Coordinate meetings, briefings, contacts, and follow-up activities
  • Prepare customer briefs, white paper contributions, talking points, and draft proposal content
  • Provide capture-planning support through research, document control, and deadline monitoring
  • Prepare materials for customer meetings, industry events, and internal cross-functional discussions
  • Monitor engagements involving Programs of Record, SDA, DIU, AFRL, DARPA, and other mission stakeholders
  • Coordinate research, scheduling, and materials for Congressional engagement tied to NDAA priorities
  • Help develop strategic outreach plans connected to emerging legislative opportunities
  • Coordinate activity with teaming partners, integrators, and distribution partners
  • Research mission needs, capability gaps, acquisition trends, and technology developments related to GEO/LEO and alternative PNT solutions
  • Monitor DoD budget activity, program developments, RFI/RFP releases, and public announcements
  • Provide data, findings, and analysis for corporate strategy initiatives
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across business development and sales materials and communications
  • Support marketing content, event materials, social media, outreach programs, and external visibility
  • Complete other related duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must live in the United States
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, communications, cyber, space systems, business, or a related discipline
  • Eight to twelve years of industry experience in communications, SATCOM, cyber, network operations, or space operations
  • Experience supporting operational units, program offices, or technical teams within the DoD or Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of military communications systems, satellite communications, or network architectures, including GEO, LEO, PNT, cyber, and RF
  • Familiarity with DoD organizational structures, acquisition processes, and mission requirements
  • Basic proficiency with CRM platforms such as NetSuite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • Highly organized with close attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work resourcefully under pressure
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% nationally and internationally, primarily within the United States
  • Military or government experience is preferred
  • Aviation and GEO knowledge is a plus
