Senior AI Platforms Analytics and Governance Lead
Lead governance and analytics for HP’s enterprise AI platforms, improving forecasting, cost management, and adoption. Build executive dashboards, governance policies, and predictive models to support sustainable AI use.
Description
- Oversee and optimize enterprise AI platforms such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI
- Set platform standards, governance policies, and model usage guidelines
- Assess emerging AI technologies and advise on adoption strategies
- Coordinate with security, legal, privacy, and compliance teams
- Establish budget controls and cost allocation approaches
- Build usage forecasts and dashboards for executives
- Find ways to improve efficiency through prompt engineering and caching, model routing, token reduction, context window and RAG optimization, batch processing, and agent orchestration
- Plan assigned projects, define data collection and analysis methods, and create visualizations that communicate insights
- Examine platform usage, token consumption, license utilization, and adoption patterns
- Forecast AI credit use, budget needs, and capacity requirements
- Use subject expertise and business judgment to shape decisions with executive leaders, development partners, and industry standards groups
- Advance the adoption and integration of data science technologies and practices
- Track business intelligence developments and recommend new solutions
- Set functional strategy, policies, and direction as a functional manager
- Coach and support employees at lower levels
- Create executive dashboards and KPIs for AI adoption, realized business value, and return on investment
- Apply statistical analysis and machine learning to detect anomalies, forecast costs, and identify efficiency gains
- Work with platform owners, engineering, finance, procurement, and business stakeholders to support data-informed decisions
Requirements
- Four-year or graduate degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience or demonstrated expertise
- Typically at least seven years of experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related area
- Certification in SQL, Python, or a similar programming language is preferred
- Knowledge of Agile methods, business intelligence, computer science, dashboards, data analysis and management, data modeling and quality, data science and visualization, data warehousing, ETL, machine learning, Power BI, Python, R, SAS, SQL, statistics, and Tableau
