Salesforce Technical Architect — Remote in the United States

Lead the architecture and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients at CloudMasonry. Guide stakeholders and delivery teams across complex integrations, cloud transformation programs, and technical implementations.

Description

  • Lead technical architecture and delivery for engagements or workstreams from discovery through release
  • Build secure, scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integrations
  • Define integration and data architectures covering APIs, event-driven patterns, middleware, migration, and large data volumes
  • Convert business requirements and user stories into detailed technical designs and specifications
  • Guide client stakeholders through design trade-offs, platform constraints, and delivery risks
  • Maintain delivery quality through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering standards
  • Own environment strategy, version control, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and the broader development lifecycle
  • Mentor developers and consultants on technical implementation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery teams
  • Track and manage technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Support pre-sales efforts by scoping solutions, estimating work, and presenting proposed technical approaches
  • Raise solution quality, delivery efficiency, and technical standards across client engagements
  • Complete an applicant assessment after submitting a resume

Requirements

  • Candidates must be based in the United States and currently reside there
  • Full-time direct-hire position; C2C, contract, and agency submissions are not accepted
  • Extensive experience architecting and developing custom Salesforce solutions
  • Previous hands-on Salesforce experience is required
  • Current Salesforce technical certifications are mandatory
  • At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development and technical delivery experience, including 2 or more years in consulting
  • Experience serving as technical lead for complex enterprise implementations involving multiple business units, stakeholder groups, and connected systems
  • Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
  • Strong knowledge of platform limits and performance considerations, including governor limits, asynchronous processing, Batch, Queueable, Platform Events, and large data volumes
  • Integration architecture experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware such as MuleSoft or Informatica
  • Experience designing Salesforce sharing and security models
  • Solid grounding in object-oriented programming and common design patterns using Apex, Java, Python, or a comparable language
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based source control, Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, including well-structured Apex unit tests
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams
  • Strong client communication skills and confidence facilitating technical workshops and design reviews
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other standard enterprise business applications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is required
  • Willingness and ability to accommodate 25–50% travel
  • Experience with quote-to-cash, service, sales operations, or similar business processes is a plus
  • Experience maintaining legacy Visualforce and Aura code is a plus
  • Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect certification is preferred
