Description

  • Execute Data Risk Management activities under the company’s framework, covering data usability, distribution, and lifecycle controls.
  • Contribute to independent reviews and challenge of first-line data risk practices, governance, controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze review and monitoring results to surface control gaps, recurring issues, and emerging data risk themes.
  • Document observations and monitor remediation progress.
  • Monitor enterprise data risk themes, control effectiveness, and emerging risks.
  • Support risk oversight and escalation activities.
  • Work with Global Risk and Compliance, Finance, the Enterprise Data Office, and other business units on data risk mitigation and governance.
  • Create reports and presentations for management, oversight activities, and stakeholder discussions.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • An advanced degree in finance, economics, risk management, information technology, data analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 0–2 years of risk management or data risk experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Experience presenting risk insights to leaders, including key risk indicators, control performance, and emerging themes.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data risk management practices is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Knowledge of database systems.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and generative AI tools.
  • Ability to use emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to analyze information, identify trends and risk themes, and improve risk management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to apply thought leadership and strategic thinking to initiatives that advance program maturity and development.
  • Exceptional professional communication skills with a clear, logical, and structured approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Integrity and confidence to challenge others and respond constructively to challenge.
  • Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
