Remote Collections Officer for Mexico and LATAM

Manage overdue customer accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and meet collection targets through outbound calls and professional follow-up. This full-time remote role supports U.S. customers from eligible LATAM locations.

Description

  • Oversee a portfolio of delinquent and overdue accounts
  • Contact customers by phone and email regarding unpaid balances
  • Respond professionally to objections and delayed payments
  • Arrange payment plans and consistently track customer commitments
  • Keep account records and follow-up actions accurate and current
  • Meet daily and weekly collection goals and performance metrics

Requirements

  • At least two years of hands-on collections experience, including work with U.S. or international customer accounts
  • Previous experience managing U.S. customers or accounts is strongly preferred
  • Strong spoken and written English skills
  • Willingness to handle a high volume of outbound calls
  • Ability to communicate clearly, directly, and concisely
  • Persistent, firm, and professional approach
  • Reliable follow-through and personal accountability
  • Comfort working toward targets and performance metrics
  • Collections experience must include actively pursuing overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and managing a delinquent portfolio
  • Experience limited to accounts receivable, billing, credit analysis, credit control, accounting, clerical work, reconciliation, or data entry does not meet the primary experience requirement

  • Monthly pay of $1,300–$1,600, based on relevant experience and demonstrated collections expertise
