Remote Accounts Payable Specialist in the Philippines

Home-based Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor payments, and financial reporting. Supports U.S. promotional-products businesses through Delegate CX’s BPO services.

Description

  • Oversee the complete accounts payable process
  • Review, validate, and prepare invoices for payment
  • Manage supplier relationships, investigate payment discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Match invoices against purchase orders and receipts
  • Arrange vendor payments through checks, electronic transfers, and ACH
  • Produce accounts payable reports covering outstanding balances, cash-flow forecasts, and aging
  • Track and manage expenses by assessing payment terms and negotiating vendor discounts
  • Investigate disputes, overdue payments, and incomplete documentation
  • Complete other role-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • One to three years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, or an equivalent area
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Availability for overnight or graveyard shifts in Philippine time, or during U.S. operating hours
  • Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, SAP, or comparable tools
  • Thorough knowledge of accounts payable practices, accounting standards, and account reconciliation
  • Exceptional accuracy when maintaining financial records, with close attention to detail
  • Ability to organize competing priorities and meet payment deadlines
  • CPA or CMA certification is beneficial but not mandatory
