Description

  • Validate programmed surveys against questionnaires for accuracy and consistency
  • Test survey logic, skips, piping, randomization, quotas, calculations, and respondent flow
  • Run soft-launch data checks to detect programming or fieldwork issues
  • Work with researchers and programming vendors to investigate and resolve issues
  • Monitor and clean respondent-level data during fieldwork and at study close
  • Flag low-quality respondents, inconsistent answers, suspicious open-ended responses, speeders, straightliners, and other data-quality issues
  • Investigate unusual data patterns and troubleshoot programming, sampling, or processing problems
  • Assist with recodes, derived variables, banners, crosstabs, weighting, and significance testing
  • Verify data tables and analytical outputs for accuracy and consistency
  • Build PowerPoint reports using survey data, charts, and tables
  • Review bases, percentages, significance results, calculations, and data labels
  • Perform numerical quality checks on client deliverables
  • Resolve discrepancies between raw data, tables, and reporting outputs
  • Deliver clean, analysis-ready data and outputs to research teams
  • Act as a central resource for quantitative research quality and technical execution
  • Create and refine standardized procedures for program checking, data cleaning, reporting, and quality control
  • Find ways to automate or simplify repetitive quantitative workflows
  • Adopt AI-powered tools and platforms to improve efficiency and quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in market research, psychology, sociology, business, communications, or a related discipline
  • Up to two years of experience, including internships
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; survey or analytics tool experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a remote work environment
