Product Designer – London (Hybrid)

Description

  • Lead complex product areas across the Zable app, from discovery and research to refined, production-ready designs.
  • Define design direction in partnership with product managers and engineers.
  • Mentor fellow designers while strengthening design quality and measurable outcomes.
  • Frame problems during discovery and articulate customer needs clearly.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, then turn findings into actionable themes.
  • Review funnel and analytics data to uncover confusing journeys, unclear value propositions, and potential customer harm.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, edge cases, and error states.
  • Use the design system and Zable brand guidelines consistently, identifying and escalating inconsistencies.
  • Work with engineers to understand constraints and produce thorough design specifications.
  • Apply AI to speed up research, analysis, and production, including opening pull requests for design changes.
  • Keep Figma files accurate, organized, and fully documented.
  • Report to the VP of Product & Design.

Requirements

  • At least three years of product design experience focused on mobile applications.
  • Experience in fintech or startup environments is preferred.
  • Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG AA.
  • Strong commitment to fair outcomes for customers.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • UX writing experience is an advantage.
  • Able to work from the office three days each week, with UK work authorization or eligibility for company visa sponsorship.
