Process and Continuous Improvement Engineer in Bogotá

Improve manufacturing performance in Bogotá through data analysis, Lean and Six Sigma methods, KPI management, and production-cost reduction. Lead process optimization initiatives that strengthen productivity, quality, and continuous improvement practices.

Description

  • Support production operations by analyzing data to maintain and improve process flows
  • Apply continuous improvement methods and KPI initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and reinforce an improvement culture
  • Manage the JDE ERP, including new product creation and updates to BOM structures, routings, and barcodes
  • Design, standardize, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, procedures, and operating standards
  • Track and report the savings achieved
  • Lead the identification, implementation, and monitoring of improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction
  • Train and engage teams in continuous improvement tools and practices
  • Prepare reports on progress, requirements, and outcomes
  • Support production planning, control, and improvement activities
  • Coordinate engineering resources to meet production, quality, and safety objectives
  • Track and measure production performance indicators
  • Standardize processes and document work procedures
  • Control production costs based on available resources and capacity
  • Monitor process indicators and implement corrective actions when deviations occur

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in production processes—ideally assembly or metalworking—and continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or related disciplines
  • Advanced English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required
  • Demonstrable advanced Excel expertise
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Knowledge of visual management tools such as VSM, 5S, and Kanban
  • Knowledge of Power BI
