Pharmaceutical Content Acquisition Editor

Research, verify, and edit pharmaceutical drug information for Wolters Kluwer’s clinical content. Manage source review, discrepancy resolution, editorial workflows, and quality standards in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Acquire, verify, and maintain clinical drug information for embedded and reference content across domestic and international markets.
  • Conduct pharmaceutical surveillance, process incoming content, and complete editorial work using proprietary systems and workflow tools.
  • Review source materials, identify inconsistencies, and determine the appropriate content updates.
  • Research and obtain pharmaceutical product information and related source documentation while maintaining ongoing surveillance.
  • Enter, validate, format, and edit drug-related information in editorial and proprietary systems.
  • Submit completed work for peer review and apply reviewer feedback.
  • Triage and prioritize pharmaceutical information, monitor translation requirements and costs, and prepare materials for clinical or downstream editorial use.
  • Organize assigned work to meet deadlines, productivity requirements, and quality goals.
  • Use document management systems, workflow applications, and internal platforms effectively.
  • Investigate issues and develop solutions that improve tools, processes, or data management.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy technician certification with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Working familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Foundational understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical decision support is preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at tracking work.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Capable of diagnosing and resolving operational problems.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and partnering across functions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
