Grow revenue-generating partnerships for Decanter World Wine Awards and Decanter Premium subscriptions. Build commercial relationships across wine, luxury, hospitality, travel, and financial services sectors.

Description

  • Scale revenue-generating partnerships across Decanter World Wine Awards and Decanter Premium.
  • Create service-exchange partnerships with regional wine bodies to increase award entries.
  • Develop B2B2C distribution channels to grow Decanter Premium subscriptions.
  • Research potential partners and prepare tailored commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements that deliver mutual value.
  • Pitch and establish promotional partnerships with wine trade boards and export consortia.
  • Work with Marketing and Logistics to create operationally effective partnership packages.
  • Develop distribution partnerships with luxury travel, hospitality, and financial services brands.
  • Design value-exchange agreements and exclusive offers for members.
  • Coordinate partnership launches across digital, print, and event channels.
  • Use CRM, pipeline management, and analytics tools to track entries and partnership results.
  • Report on partnership metrics, entry volumes, and subscription ROI to stakeholders.
  • Report to the Head of Awards in London.

Requirements

  • Proven account management, commercial partnerships, or business development experience in media, publishing, or luxury sectors.
  • Understanding of strategic brand alliances and promotional partnerships as audience acquisition channels.
  • Familiarity with global wine regions, trade export associations, or the wider wine and hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior industry partners.
  • Organised approach to pipeline management, contract administration, and performance tracking through CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of subscription marketing, cross-promotional retail campaigns, or international trade engagement is advantageous.
  • Experience in commercial partnerships, account management, or marketing focused on collaborative growth.
  • Practical experience managing pipelines, structuring agreements, or using CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively from the London office on a hybrid basis.
