Operational Administrator - Peterborough Onsite

Support Anglian Water’s operational teams with administration, procurement, scheduling, compliance records and stakeholder communications. The role supports water supply and network maintenance activities in an onsite Peterborough setting.

Description

  • Help ensure operational teams run efficiently
  • Deliver core administrative support to the Bedford Supply Teams
  • Organise workloads and provide administrative and procurement assistance
  • Arrange and document meetings, including rooms, minutes, refreshments and invitations
  • Manage diaries and coordinate one-to-one and monthly team meetings
  • Keep team health and safety records up to date
  • Monitor training requirements and expiry dates, and arrange relevant training
  • Handle data collection and retention in line with GDPR requirements
  • Create purchase orders and process invoice payments
  • Complete administrative tasks for field and management teams
  • Respond to daily tasks and requests from the Network Maintenance team
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and customers
  • Deliver consistently high-quality customer service

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience, preferably in a comparable operational environment
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Confidence proactively working with a broad range of people
  • Good general IT skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Experience managing data and preparing spreadsheets
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Successful completion of reference, driving licence and identity checks
  • A full driving licence is essential
