Description

Analyze services, projects, and broader business functions to support operational decision-making
Manage databases, extract information, and build metrics and scorecards that track and improve performance
Investigate productivity, performance, error-rate, and root-cause data across operations
Examine reports to uncover operational problems between departments
Create reports, charts, graphs, presentations, and related materials for analytical work
Use business systems and software to build and maintain reporting tools for informed decisions
Conduct supplier and site waste walks to identify cost-saving opportunities for the improvement pipeline

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work or military experience
At least one year of comprehensive supply-chain or logistics experience
Advanced ability to prepare, import, and manipulate data in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
Ability to transform raw data into practical, usable formats
Microsoft Office experience, including Access
Experience extracting system data from SAP and using Excel or Access to create reports
Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems, order-management applications, and database systems
Advanced Excel capability, including macro development and use
Experience working with SAP
Strong data-mining and development capabilities
Ability to conduct statistical analysis and build queries
Ability to produce solutions-focused reports that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and supply-chain structure
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time-management skills
Willingness to follow GXO COVID safety policies and complete a pre-employment drug test if required
