Senior Business Insights Analyst

Develop Databricks and Azure analytics solutions for McKesson, supporting smarter decisions across sourcing, logistics, and distribution. Apply AI and automation to improve enterprise data capabilities and business outcomes.

Description

  • Create dashboards, applications, and reporting tools that inform operational and strategic decisions
  • Work with business leaders to uncover opportunities for automation, process improvement, and stronger reporting
  • Convert business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions
  • Maintain and advance enterprise analytics platforms such as Databricks, Azure, SAP HANA, and Postgres
  • Assist with cloud migration programs and broader platform modernization efforts
  • Develop and manage scalable data assets, reporting frameworks, and data models
  • Apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency and organizational results
  • Contribute to enterprise innovation work, including AIM28 priorities
  • Assess emerging technologies and advise on solutions that deliver business value

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, data management, analytics engineering, or application development is typically expected
  • Strong proficiency with Databricks, SQL, Python, GitHub, Azure, and AI-enabled tools
  • Practical experience in database management and database design
  • Background designing, building, and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions
  • Ability to collect requirements, deliver solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders across the project lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Data Science, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Azure services including AKS, Function Apps, Docker, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience contributing to cloud migration initiatives
  • Ability to work one day per week from the LaVergne, Tennessee office or two days per week from McKesson's Irving, Texas headquarters
