Senior Internal Control Analyst

Strengthen Ford Credit Europe’s UK banking control environment through Non-SOX testing, control monitoring, and risk improvement advice. Partner with operational risk, internal audit, and business teams to assess controls and report findings to leadership.

Description

  • Enhance the Risk & Control Self-Assessment process with the Operational Risk Team
  • Help develop FCE’s annual Non-SOX controls testing plan
  • Conduct internal control testing and assess the control environment and financial reporting controls
  • Support compliance with applicable UK banking regulations
  • Design, implement, and maintain operational and regulatory internal controls
  • Assess control deficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate testing outcomes and recommend actions for elevated risks or deficiencies
  • Prepare executive reporting materials for FCE leadership
  • Produce periodic and ad hoc reports on internal control testing status and results
  • Work with departments and functions to build cooperation and consensus
  • Collaborate with and support Internal Audit
  • Contribute to special projects

Requirements

  • Professional qualification such as ACT, ACMA, CFA, ACA, or ACCA
  • Knowledge of UK banking regulations and relevant legislation, including PRA, FCA, and SMCR requirements
  • Experience in internal control, risk management, or internal audit
  • Strong command of internal control principles, standards, and best practices, with practical application experience
  • Ability to perform effectively both within a team and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality work on schedule
  • Curiosity and confidence to appropriately challenge functional leaders and proposed solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Advanced technical and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to attend the Dunton office typically four days per week
  • Willingness to complete a criminal record check
