Mid-Level Software Quality Analyst (Remote)

Join Youx Group as a mid-level QA analyst responsible for planning testing strategies and delivering manual and automated testing. Help improve software quality through test automation, AI-assisted tools, and continuous process improvement.

Description

  • Plan test strategies and scenarios using requirements, architecture, and business rules as a foundation.
  • Identify solution risks, defects, and possible downstream impacts before they affect delivery.
  • Create, run, and maintain manual and automated tests across functional, regression, exploratory, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end coverage.
  • Build and maintain test automation scripts.
  • Apply AI tools such as Cursor to create, maintain, and optimize automated tests.
  • Investigate AI-driven approaches to test automation and autonomous test execution.
  • Review test outcomes, document defects, and complete validation and regression testing after fixes.
  • Collaborate with Development and other teams to embed quality from the solution design phase.
  • Recommend ongoing improvements to quality processes, tools, and practices.
  • Keep current with technologies, methodologies, and AI solutions relevant to software quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with manual regression, exploratory, usability, integration, and performance testing.
  • Experience automating tests with Cypress and JavaScript, Robot Framework and Python, or Selenium and Python.
  • Working knowledge of Postman for API testing.
  • Working knowledge of BDD and Gherkin for writing test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with Cursor and other AI tools used in software development and test automation.
  • Interest in using AI to reduce manual work and increase the autonomy of quality processes.
  • A holistic, systems-focused, and preventive approach to quality.
  • Ability to support strategic quality planning while carrying out routine testing.
  • Intermediate understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
