Cloud Native Infrastructure Engineer
Cloud infrastructure engineer supporting Ericsson NFVI/CNIS solutions for Capgemini Engineering. Deploy and upgrade Telco Cloud environments for 5G, IoT, edge, and distributed-cloud initiatives.
Description
- Integrate and validate Ericsson Cloud NFVI/CNIS solutions within telecom core networks
- Build expertise in Ericsson NFVI/CNIS products, including ECCD, CCD, SDI, SDI3, and CEE, for customer deployments
- Contribute to Cloud PDU proof-of-concept initiatives spanning 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, and distributed cloud
- Implement, integrate, and upgrade Ericsson Telco Cloud solutions
- Assess client requirements and help shape appropriate solutions
- Manage assigned work independently or with limited supervision
- Share technical knowledge while mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Diagnose issues and develop solutions for clearly defined problems
- Work collaboratively with teams and engage directly with customers
Requirements
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and virtualization
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Unix/Linux
- At least five years of IP networking integration experience using Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, or HP switches
- Kubernetes experience with CKA certification from the Linux Foundation is required
- Exposure to NFVI/CNIS and the ability to quickly learn Ericsson NFVI/CNIS products
- Experience installing, integrating, and validating systems
- Strong investigation and troubleshooting capabilities
- Python, Ansible, or shell scripting experience is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- A task-focused, self-motivated approach with flexibility for cross-functional teamwork
- Availability to work in accordance with the project timezone
