Medical Only Adjuster – Acrisure (Hybrid, Summerfield, FL)
Acrisure is hiring a full-time Medical Only Adjuster for its hybrid Summerfield, Florida team. The role focuses on workers’ compensation claims, medical coordination, red-flag detection, and accurate payment processing.
Description
- Conduct thorough claim investigations, including coverage review and subrogation assessment
- Oversee medical issues and coordinate appointments without delay
- Partner with the Team Manager to spot potential red flags
- Maintain complete, accurate, and current claim documentation
- Process medical payments accurately and within required timelines
Requirements
- Pass licensing examinations required in the applicable states
- Complete continuing education credits required to maintain licensure
- Attend training and develop working knowledge of workers’ compensation laws for assigned states
- Communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms
- Apply strong analytical judgment and careful attention to detail
- Manage competing priorities accurately and efficiently through effective time management
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service
- Use the Microsoft Office suite proficiently
- Demonstrate PC literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Stay organized across daily claim responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Meet or exceed established performance competencies
- Identify necessary next steps and take proactive action
- Work across multiple systems and software programs while managing concurrent tasks
- Be comfortable working on-site to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional relationships
- Complete role-related post-offer verification requirements if selected as a finalist
