Description

  • Own the enterprise and solution architecture function, covering its team, priorities, standards, methods, and governance
  • Create architecture principles, reference models, roadmaps, and standards that support business priorities and technology investments
  • Direct solution design activities and architecture review processes
  • Set architecture direction across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud, security, and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with business, delivery, operations, vendors, and Data, AI, and Cyber Security architecture teams
  • Find opportunities for modernization, reuse, technology rationalization, and technical debt reduction
  • Develop architects, balance demand and capacity, and explain architecture decisions to senior leaders and delivery teams

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience
  • At least eight years of progressive enterprise technology experience, including enterprise and solution architecture in a large, complex organization
  • Experience leading architects or senior technical professionals and establishing an effective architecture practice
  • Broad expertise in cloud platforms, application, integration and messaging architectures, identity and access management, infrastructure and networking, security architecture, data management and integration, AI and emerging technologies, and modern software delivery
  • Experience creating architecture and solution designs using Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, enterprise integration and messaging platforms, event-driven architectures, API management solutions, and related cloud and data services
  • Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-influence abilities
  • Architecture or technology certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or ITIL are considered an asset
