Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) – Illinois Remote

Provide outpatient mental health therapy remotely through Brave Health’s telehealth program. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and support clients across the lifespan.

Description

  • Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Provide technology-enabled mental health treatment
  • Support patients across the lifespan
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day
  • Work Monday through Friday from either 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, create treatment plans, and diagnose mental health or substance abuse conditions
  • Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their goals
  • Treat patients with chronic severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Pursue additional state licenses as Brave Health enters new markets

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and professional licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • A private work-from-home environment that supports patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • English fluency required; Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
  • Treatment planning experience
  • Comfort using telehealth platforms, video communication, and internal collaboration tools
  • Experience working with clients to achieve their goals
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Independent clinical licensure
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
