Description

  • Build backend solutions with Java.
  • Work with Java 8 or later.
  • Create and test RESTful services and APIs.
  • Use Mockito, JUnit, Maven, and Git.
  • Consume SOAP and REST web services.
  • Implement authentication with JWT, OAuth2, and API keys.
  • Manage HTTPS and SSL certificates.
  • Validate inputs to help prevent vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS.
  • Test endpoints with Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno.
  • Work with Docker containers and web servers.
  • Collaborate with teammates and communicate effectively.
  • Contribute to digital transformation projects for clients in finance, insurance, and industry.

Requirements

  • Experience or knowledge in Java backend development.
  • Java, preferably version 8 or 17.
  • Mockito.
  • JUnit, preferably the Jupiter version.
  • Maven.
  • Git.
  • RESTful design principles.
  • Three-part API versioning.
  • HTTP methods and status codes.
  • RAML.
  • JSON and XML data formats.
  • Knowledge of consuming SOAP and REST web services.
  • JWT, OAuth2, and API key authentication methods.
  • HTTPS and SSL certificate management.
  • Input validation to help prevent attacks such as SQL injection and XSS.
  • Tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno for endpoint testing.
  • Docker containers and web servers.
  • Intermediate technical English reading and writing skills.
  • Cucumber is optional.
  • Knowledge of Jira is preferred.
