IT Project Manager, CTO’s Operating Partner

Partner with Power Digital’s CTO to coordinate technology portfolios, operating routines, vendors, budgets, and executive reporting at an AI-native growth firm.

Description

  • Maintain a central portfolio of IT, Security, and Product initiatives, including owners, timelines, status, risks, and decisions.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, action tracking, vendor and contract renewals, budget and salary-cap tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Support the CTO with vendor coordination, procurement follow-ups, hiring logistics, cross-department requests, and documentation.
  • Follow up on commitments, identify blockers, recommend escalations, and close the loop with stakeholders.
  • Apply AI technologies to improve business processes.
  • Use Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem in support of the department.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Track initiatives, commitments, and decisions across IT, Security, and Product, reporting directly to the CTO.
  • Reduce the CTO’s operational workload and prepare weekly Technology status reports and monthly executive summaries.
  • Flag contract renewals to the CTO at least 60 days before expiration and help prevent unintended auto-renewals.

Requirements

  • Bring 3+ years of experience in project or program management, chief of staff work, or technology operations supporting a senior technology leader.
  • Demonstrate experience managing programs with multiple workstreams in a work-management tool.
  • Write clearly in English and turn incomplete updates into executive-ready status reports or decision memos.
  • Be comfortable working with budgets, vendor contracts, renewals, and procurement processes.
  • Have sufficient technical knowledge to track IT, security, and software work and ask informed questions.
  • Follow up persistently and respectfully, including holding senior stakeholders to their commitments.
  • Have advanced spoken and written English proficiency (C1 or higher).
  • Be available during US business hours and on short notice outside those hours.
