Internal Communications Coordinator at Genetec (Hybrid)

Support Genetec’s internal communications strategy through employee-focused content, intranet updates, campaigns, and engagement initiatives. The role also coordinates events, translations, editorial planning, and communications performance measurement.

Description

  • Support the Internal Communications Manager with planning and delivering the internal communications strategy.
  • Create and refine announcements, presentations, Q&A materials, digital signage, and other communications content.
  • Help develop, maintain, and improve the company intranet.
  • Keep the internal communications editorial calendar current.
  • Help regional offices launch corporate campaigns and global announcements.
  • Find potential story ideas and interview employees or stakeholders to collect information.
  • Help establish intranet processes, governance practices, and training materials.
  • Assist with employee programs, events, and engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate updates to corporate biographies.
  • Arrange translations for communications content when required.
  • Track and evaluate internal communications performance through dashboards and project management tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and focused on achieving results.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams, as well as Canva and web tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Positive, adaptable approach to varied responsibilities and a willingness to learn.
  • Able to learn new tools quickly; project management or email marketing experience is an asset.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English.
