Description

  • Conduct audit projects and consulting engagements under established methodologies and within approved timelines.
  • Prepare audit workpapers independently in line with internal audit and departmental standards.
  • Support engagement planning, fieldwork, and reporting activities.
  • Investigate audit findings and determine their root causes.
  • Propose practical process improvements.
  • Monitor management’s development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Present audit and consulting results to management through written reports and verbal briefings.
  • Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana’s operational processes.
  • Carry out approved audit plans.
  • Prepare management reports covering audit and risk findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of audit experience.
  • Experience documenting process walkthroughs and identifying controls.
  • Experience leading meetings.
  • Must live within commuting distance of a Humana office.
  • Willingness to attend the office occasionally.
