Description

  • Identify appropriate BPE products and solutions for customers and Sales associates.
  • Deliver personalized service through accurate, timely quotations for MRO and project requirements.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Arrange and coordinate customer deliveries.
  • Handle internal and external sales calls while resolving customer and associate questions and concerns.
  • Use the CRM to oversee customer projects and individual requirements.
  • Coordinate pipe, valve, and fitting needs according to product strategy and preferred vendor arrangements.
  • Analyze and clarify project specifications to support accurate interpretation and execution.

Requirements

  • Prior inside sales experience of 3–5 years is preferred.
  • Three to five years of hygienic BPE knowledge is preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales ability, including upselling products and solutions.
  • A record of responding promptly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and consistently honoring commitments.
  • Strong motivation and a customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships.
  • Basic digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Capacity to learn new product information and processes quickly.
  • Availability to work onsite at Ferguson’s Newport News, Virginia headquarters or an Industrial Branch.
