Independent US IPO Analyst (Remote)

Research US IPOs and direct listings for institutional investors, covering valuation, pricing, deal rankings, and post-listing performance. Deliver rigorous analysis and tailored market intelligence, including high-touch support for selected clients.

Description

  • Maintain research coverage of US IPOs and direct listings with expected deal sizes of at least USD 100 million, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs.
  • Create a data-driven framework for evaluating and ranking deals.
  • Prepare company tearsheets ahead of IPOs.
  • Perform fundamental research on companies preparing to go public.
  • Deliver insights on pre-IPO valuation and pricing.
  • Write summaries of post-IPO trading activity.
  • Develop previews of post-IPO lock-up expirations.
  • Provide high-touch coverage for selected institutional clients during the first six months.
  • Deliver pre-deal positioning analysis, market intelligence, book color, management meeting questions, Excel models, and bespoke notes for pre-IPO or cornerstone stakes under NDA.
  • Identify trading opportunities around post-deal lock-up expirations.
  • Provide desk access through email, messaging, and direct calls.

Requirements

  • At least five years of substantial research or investment experience serving institutional clients.
  • Established experience and professional network in US equity capital markets.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality research.
