Director of Content and Communications at HappyRobot

Lead HappyRobot’s company narrative and communications strategy for its enterprise AI workforce infrastructure. Build content programs, founder thought leadership, media relationships, and the communications function.

Description

  • Own HappyRobot’s overarching narrative, messaging, and content direction.
  • Build a B2B content and communications organization that presents HappyRobot as a sophisticated industrial technology company and category leader.
  • Create campaign narratives for target customer profiles across digital and out-of-home channels.
  • Produce customer stories, articles, blog posts, and related content that demonstrate business impact and enterprise credibility.
  • Design and deliver communications plans for milestones, growth, product innovation, customer traction, partnerships, and announcements.
  • Direct founder thought leadership through executive content, speaking engagements, media opportunities, podcasts, and industry events.
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, publications, podcast hosts, conference organizers, and other influential voices.
  • Develop opportunities for HappyRobot and its leaders to contribute to discussions about AI, automation, and the future of work.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and company leadership to align customer, industry, and corporate communications.
  • Define the strategy, operating processes, and team structure required to scale the communications function.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience creating and managing Content, Communications, or Marketing functions.
  • At least 8 years of experience in B2B technology, enterprise software, AI, automation, or a related field.
  • Outstanding storytelling, writing, and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Ability to explain complex technology in clear, engaging terms.
  • Strong creative instincts for developing narratives and campaigns.
  • Experience shaping company narratives and positioning technology businesses for enterprise audiences.
  • Track record of partnering directly with founders and executives on thought leadership and executive communications.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B audiences and enterprise technology purchasing environments.
  • A sophisticated approach to developing a category-defining technology brand.
  • Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on delivery in a fast-moving, high-growth setting.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or category-defining technology company is preferred.
  • Experience in AI, robotics, industrial technology, logistics, supply chain, or enterprise automation is preferred.
  • Established media relationships and experience with PR, podcasts, speaking engagements, and thought leadership are preferred.
  • Experience introducing a company or product to a new market category is preferred.
  • Experience building and leading a high-performing content or communications team is preferred.
  • A mandatory one-minute video response is required during the application process.
