Description

  • Complete Associated Bank’s five-month Credit Analyst Program through hands-on assignments, structured training, projects, and learning opportunities
  • Provide analytical support to the Commercial Real Estate team
  • Support annual reviews, cash flow analysis, credit presentations, financial analysis, and portfolio management initiatives
  • Work with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, mentors, and leaders across multiple commercial real estate markets
  • Develop knowledge of Associated Bank’s credit practices, underwriting process, and financial data spreading and analysis
  • Analyze and underwrite existing and prospective credit transactions to help monitor and manage the loan portfolio
  • Build familiarity with the bank’s lending cycle and banking products
  • Help businesses evaluate capital structures and financial needs, then develop and recommend financial solutions
  • Learn Associated Bank’s value proposition and relationship-banking approach

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
  • Successful internship experience at a bank or other financial institution
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and credit analysis concepts
  • Experience performing financial and cash flow analysis
  • Credit analysis capabilities
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Consent to Associated Bank’s thorough background check for new hires
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements
  • Ability to report suspicious activity, customer complaints, procedure violations, and ethical concerns as required
