Description

  • Develop, provision, operate, and scale high-performance cloud environments with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Create and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for software compilation, testing, and continuous delivery.
  • Monitor the health of network, storage, and compute services and address operational issues.
  • Embed Shift Left security practices throughout the platform stack.
  • Work with application teams to create architectures designed for cloud deployment.
  • Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and platform problems.
  • At the senior level, define domain architecture, establish long-term roadmaps, plan capacity, and direct cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Join the on-call rotation and provide occasional weekend support.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack, or software-defined networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Shell, Ruby, or Perl.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, and Git.
  • Intermediate candidates need at least five years of experience in IT, software engineering, DevOps, or systems administration.
  • Intermediate candidates must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Senior candidates need at least seven years of experience in IT, software engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering.
  • Senior candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Availability for on-call duties and occasional weekend support when required.
  • Candidates employed by a Gordon Food Service customer must provide a management support letter if selected for interviews.
