Clinical Research Data Specialist I, Clinical Trials – Hybrid

Support clinical trial data coordination and case report form management across research studies at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Help maintain accurate, compliant, and secure clinical research records.

Description

  • Coordinate clinical trial data for participants enrolled in studies led by principal investigators at University Hospitals Case Medical Center
  • Complete, review, and abstract case report forms for research involving IRBs, pharmaceutical sponsors, and internal or external committees
  • Enter clinical trial data accurately and promptly across therapeutic areas and study phases
  • Review submitted data for errors and inconsistencies against study completion requirements
  • Protect the integrity and quality of clinical research trial data
  • Support trial conduct in line with standard operating procedures, Good Clinical Practice, sponsor requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow organizational policies and operating standards
  • Protect and securely manage Protected Health Information (PHI)

Requirements

  • High school diploma equivalent or GED is required
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently across multiple tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to understand data requirements and communicate them clearly to others
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including demonstrated experience with Excel, Access, Word, and database applications
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, Good Clinical Practice, sponsor requirements, applicable regulations, and PHI security standards
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
