Description
- Support clients one-on-one in their homes
- Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals
- Handle light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and organization
- Transport clients to appointments, complete errands, and shop for groceries
- Offer companionship through games, puzzles, and other social and emotional activities
- Attend on-the-spot interviews during the virtual hiring event
Requirements
- One year or more of professional caregiving experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- California HCA registration and compliance with state background requirements; registration may be completed after hire
- Current driver’s license
- Access to a fully insured personal vehicle
- TB clearance or chest X-ray
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Compliance with state background screening requirements
- Timely, accurate fingerprint identification as a condition of employment
- No non-exemptible criminal conviction under applicable law
