Description
- Complete foundational assignments and training in insurance and underwriting principles.
- Take self-paced development courses in time management, presentation skills, and other core areas.
- Deliver challenging projects assigned by your manager.
- Work independently or alongside other interns, then present findings to local leaders.
- Use modern analytics and AI tools, and assess the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted results.
- Explore Risk Control, Claims, and other corporate functions.
- Visit agencies with Account Executives.
- Take part in the Enterprise Internship program, including its Executive Speaker Series, networking events, and Rising Senior Intern Symposium.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work for any U.S. employer now and in the future.
- Be pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Liberal Arts (preferably with a business focus), Management, Marketing, or Risk Management and Insurance.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Show a serious interest in entering insurance and pursuing underwriting as a career.
