Description

  • Deliver high-quality features that support Napier’s technical vision and architecture
  • Develop, debug, and unit test product capabilities in line with internal standards
  • Investigate and resolve functional, performance, and scalability issues
  • Advance GitHub, CI/CD, and development practices toward continuous release readiness
  • Reduce technical debt and evolve the platform to meet changing requirements and market opportunities
  • Build and maintain the financial crime detection engine used by financial institutions worldwide
  • Work hands-on with Napier’s core Engineering teams

Requirements

  • Hands-on software development experience with Go
  • Experience using Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub
  • Experience with Azure and AWS or GCP, including cloud-based data processing
  • Database and SQL development experience, particularly with PostgreSQL
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative working style
  • Ability to work effectively with remote engineering teams and distributed delivery models
  • Kotlin or Java experience is preferred
  • Experience with analytics engines, particularly Elasticsearch, is preferred
  • Experience with Keycloak is preferred
  • Experience with ETL tools is preferred
  • Knowledge of performance engineering principles and tools is preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling is preferred
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry or related observability tools, particularly Grafana and Prometheus, is preferred
