Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for Azure platforms
  • Create reusable, version-controlled Terraform modules, landing zones, and deployment patterns
  • Manage Terraform state, remote backends, state locking, and configuration-drift detection
  • Develop and maintain Python automation that enables self-service cloud offerings
  • Build and operate Infrastructure as Code pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Embed security, policy, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement Policy as Code, role-based access control, tagging, encryption, and network controls
  • Apply Vodafone security baselines and applicable regulatory standards to cloud deployments
  • Partner with Cyber Security and FinOps teams on governed, cost-conscious solutions
  • Drive adoption of standard Terraform modules and landing zones
  • Increase deployment success rates, pipeline reliability, and compliance
  • Reduce manual provisioning through scalable automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Six to eight years of overall technology experience
  • At least four years of experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of Azure Infrastructure as a Service, networking, identity, and security
  • Experience with Azure governance, policy, and cloud security controls
  • Ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Proficiency in Git-based development and version-control practices
  • Ability to automate Azure services with Python and the Azure SDK
  • Knowledge of Terraform state management, remote backends, state locking, and drift detection
  • Experience provisioning or managing API Management through Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong accountability, documentation skills, and commitment to quality
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across distributed and global teams
  • Ability to work independently within a virtual team environment
  • Terraform Associate or another relevant cloud certification is advantageous
