Associate Process Improvement Consultant Remote New Jersey

Support Med-Metrix implementations of revenue cycle software, robotic process automation, and machine-learning workflows. Contribute to configuration, testing, client training, and healthcare revenue cycle improvements.

Description

  • Implement Med-Metrix revenue cycle solutions, including hospital and professional fee patient access, patient accounting, denials, and liability estimation workflows.
  • Support implementation planning, solution design, configuration, user acceptance testing, training, delivery, and monitoring for AnalytX Technologies.
  • Join client assessment meetings to document current workflow processes.
  • Work with Process Improvement Consultants to create best-practice design documentation in Visio.
  • Help deploy robotic process automation and machine-learning add-ons within AnalytX Workflow projects.
  • Review large data sets to uncover improvement opportunities and present findings to project teams.
  • Convert Visio process documentation into pseudocode for Development and QA teams.
  • Investigate application defects and compile technical documentation in collaboration with Development and QA.
  • Verify that programmed rules and actions reflect the client processes established during design.
  • Guide clients through user acceptance testing and track signoff progress through reporting tools.
  • Prepare customer Super Users to train End Users before go-live.
  • Communicate priorities, accomplishments, and project risks to Project Management and Leadership, escalating issues as needed.
  • Handle patients’ protected health information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Follow Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Access protected health information only to the minimum extent necessary for assigned responsibilities.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least two years of experience in a software implementation environment.
  • Experience with application configuration and testing is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with Development or IT teams is preferred.
  • Strong business writing ability.
  • Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to evaluate problems, interpret relevant information, and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Visio.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions using accurate, timely analysis.
  • High integrity and dependability, with urgency and a focus on results.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours or outside standard working hours when necessary.
  • A smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes is required.
  • Ability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively, and manage stress.
