Description

  • Build purpose-designed, in-house construction management systems.
  • Implement the architecture, procedures, protocols, and conventions defined by the Systems Development Leads.
  • Maintain and support internally developed and integrated software systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow development team members.
  • Record updates to programs, scripts, operating instructions, methodologies, and system architecture.
  • Report to the Systems Support Lead.
  • Contribute to a Development Team led by the Systems Support Lead and Development Lead.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in systems development, programming, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of comparable experience is an asset; relevant education may substitute for experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Professional experience in full-stack development.
  • Experience developing in Microsoft environments, including SQL Server.
  • Ability to create and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and database tables.
  • Knowledge of building Windows applications with VB.NET and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
  • Familiarity with XAML.
  • Practical understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Practical knowledge of structured problem-solving methods.
  • Understanding of programming best practices.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
