Description

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile features for more than 100 million customers.
  • Guide mobile architecture and design patterns.
  • Coach engineers through feedback, code reviews, and platform-specific guidance.
  • Remove technical blockers for the team.
  • Build expertise in mobile performance, accessibility, and architecture.
  • Shape mobile architecture, review API designs, and develop reusable components.
  • Direct the design and development of client-side Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services and Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures.
  • Guide engineering practices such as feature flags and phased releases.
  • Promote agentic AI tools and coach engineers in AI-native development.
  • Contribute code using modern mobile platform capabilities and advanced UI patterns.
  • Set standards for coding, testing, performance, accessibility, and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • At least four years of professional software engineering experience; internships do not count toward this requirement.
  • At least three years of experience developing native mobile apps for Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift.
  • The employer does not provide sponsorship or immigration-related support for employment authorization.
  • Preferred: At least four years of experience developing native mobile apps for Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift.
  • Preferred: Experience with modern native UI frameworks such as SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose.
  • Preferred: Experience building automated mobile test suites with Swift Testing, XCUI, JUnit, or Espresso.
  • Preferred: Experience tuning and optimizing performance on native mobile platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and reusable component libraries.
  • Preferred: Experience implementing and maintaining comprehensive automated tests.
  • Preferred: Experience with modular architecture and modern state management patterns.
  • Preferred: Experience designing and developing client-side Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using technologies such as GraphQL and gRPC/Protobuf.
  • Preferred: Experience with Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures.
  • Preferred: Experience with metrics-based phased rollouts and feature flag strategies.
  • Preferred: Expertise with agentic AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with on-device machine learning frameworks such as Core ML or TensorFlow Lite.
