Senior Big Data Engineer – Madrid Hybrid
Join Gaming Innovation Group as a Senior Big Data Engineer working on real-time big data projects in a hybrid Madrid role. You will build ETL pipelines, high-performance services, and reliable distributed data systems.

- Build and maintain ETL processes, integrations, and data pipelines
- Enable reliable processing of high-volume data
- Create optimised, high-performance services for processing, storing, and analysing large datasets
- Develop data validation and quality checks aligned with business requirements
- Troubleshoot production systems to maintain stable operations and resolve issues quickly
- Evaluate and introduce technologies that support current and future projects
- Own the analysis, design, development, and support of major real-time big data projects
- Strengthen engineering quality through code reviews, best practices, and robust solutions across big data initiatives
आवश्यकताएँ
- Advanced proficiency with big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, NiFi, ClickHouse, and big data stores
- Solid knowledge of schema design approaches and data modelling
- Expertise in using SQL to extract large datasets
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
- Object-oriented programming experience, preferably with Python and/or Java
- Extensive experience with cloud computing and/or distributed systems
