  • Meet sales targets while managing the assigned territory
  • Sell existing products, new products, and promotions
  • Conduct in-store tastings and serve customer accounts
  • Handle merchandising, including shelf placement, cold-box maintenance, display building, and inventory stocking
  • Plan strategies to meet sales and merchandising goals
  • Build efficient daily routes for account visits
  • Review accounts, identify opportunities, complete surveys, and support national account compliance
  • Prepare and present professional sales presentations
  • Track inventory and report changes in demand to management
  • Meet supplier brand distribution, volume, and activity targets
  • Maintain brand visibility and account standards with point-of-sale materials
  • Conduct inventory counts and replenish shelves
  • Collect and deliver account payments where legally permitted
  • Train account staff through brand education seminars
  • Create opening orders for new accounts with the District Manager
  • Process credits and returns while managing aged receivables
  • Deliver products when exceptional circumstances require it and resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Join supplier work-with sales calls and sales blitzes
  • Attend sales meetings and required training programs
  • Keep professional and industry knowledge current
  • Protect confidential information and maintain a safe, clean workplace

आवश्यकताएँ

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent training and work experience, preferred
  • Working knowledge of wine and spirits required
  • Experience in on-premise wine sales or service strongly preferred
  • Strong accounting, computer, customer service, and interpersonal skills preferred
  • Results-focused professional with excellent verbal and written communication, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Able to multitask, work independently or with a team, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office, presentation software, and other relevant programs
  • Familiarity with the assigned territory is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Personal vehicle required
  • Must pass criminal background and motor vehicle record checks
