Senior Consultant, State Government IT IV&V
Lead independent verification and validation, quality assurance, and project oversight for BerryDunn’s state government clients across the United States. Advise on system implementations, project risks, testing, and technical domains.

- Lead and support projects serving state government clients
- Deliver readiness and project health assessments, quality assurance, IV&V, and related services
- Provide expertise in project management, technical systems, organizational change management, state government processes, and enterprise software
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues in writing and verbally, including to client executives
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients
- Facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders
- Support staff development and contribute to a positive, innovative F&A team culture
- Take part in or lead training and professional development activities
- Prepare proposal responses to support team growth
- Report to the Project Oversight and Quality Assurance Practice Lead
- Travel for client engagements, potentially up to 50%; most engagements require 0–10% travel

- Bring expertise in state government system implementations, such as licensing, finance and accounting, budgeting, grants, ERP, tax revenue, liquor or cannabis, HR and payroll, transportation management, or pension systems
- Understand technical areas of software implementation, including data migration, system integration, cybersecurity, development lifecycle, requirements management, testing, architecture, operations, and maintenance
- Have experience with IV&V, project management, IT planning and procurement, business process improvement or analysis, independent testing, quality assurance, or related projects
- Be familiar with project management documents and best practices
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus
- Communicate complex issues clearly and logically in writing
- Have strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Manage multiple assignments while delivering quality work on time
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff and diverse constituencies
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- PMP certification is a plus
