Development and Communications Officer
Manage grants, donor relationships, and communications for OlamAid, a humanitarian aid organization based in Berlin. Support sustainable recovery projects through fundraising and strategic content.
विवरण
- Identify and track funding opportunities and deadlines
- Prepare grant applications, concept notes, and reports with program and finance teams
- Develop donor relationships and handle donor communications
- Coordinate events
- Produce tailored content for applications, reports, CRM newsletters, and fundraising campaigns
- Maintain the grants CRM database
- Compile income reports and use data to inform fundraising
- Coordinate information sharing between program and communications teams
आवश्यकताएँ
- A university degree in a relevant field, such as international cooperation, humanitarian aid, political or social sciences, communications, fundraising, or business administration, or an equivalent qualification
- At least three years of fundraising, grant management, or donor relations experience, preferably in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector
- Knowledge of Project Cycle Management, grant writing, and grant management
- Strong understanding of donor landscapes, compliance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and financial reporting
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Strong copywriting and editing skills for creating content tailored to different audiences
- Hebrew language skills are an advantage
- A strategic, pragmatic approach
- A strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Intercultural sensitivity and awareness of communication and reputational risks
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
