Tavsif

  • Define future-facing technical strategies for Propellerhead and its clients while reporting to the CTO.
  • Develop core tools, techniques, and software libraries for service development teams.
  • Take proofs of concept through to production delivery.
  • Coach team members in emerging technologies and engineering practices.
  • Help teams and customers create effective, secure enterprise software and deployment architectures for the AI era.
  • Contribute to full-stack software design and implementation across code structure, deployment architecture, DevOps, automated testing, and third-party integrations.
  • Work with client stakeholders and Propellerhead colleagues on solution design and roadmap execution within agreed budgets.
  • Lead the migration of polyglot systems to standardized Rust and TypeScript solutions with more portable deployment architectures.
  • Distribute technical knowledge across the organization to reinforce shared technical strategies.

Talablar

  • At least seven years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including work involving enterprise-scale complexity.
  • Advanced proficiency in an enterprise-grade programming language and ecosystem, such as C# .NET or Java with Spring.
  • Experience using a lower-level language for application or systems development, such as Rust or C++.
  • Experience with TypeScript and React or comparable front-end frameworks, together with strong web application development knowledge.
  • Practical experience deploying on Azure and/or AWS, building CI/CD pipelines, and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Proven contribution to distributed and asynchronous architecture, including microservices and messaging, across project design and implementation.
  • Experience using LLMs instead of hand-coding where appropriate, with the ability to explain improvements in delivery speed and system safety.
  • Ability to create clear, concise design documentation with LLM assistance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for turning requirements into actionable technical tasks.
  • Must be based in Auckland; international candidates must intend to relocate to Auckland.
  • Willingness to complete police, credit-history, and other requested assessments, and to provide qualification evidence when required.
  • Availability to attend the final recruitment interview in person in New Zealand.
