Senior Accountant – Malta (Hybrid)
Provide accounting services to clients in Malta, guiding junior accountants and preparing audit files, management accounts, VAT returns, and recap declarations.
Tavsif
- Deliver accounting services to clients and respond promptly to their requests.
- Guide junior accountants and review their work.
- Plan client portfolio deliverables, prioritise tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Update management on portfolio progress and help monitor team economics.
- Prepare audit files and coordinate with client auditors.
- Produce management accounts under the relevant accounting frameworks.
- Help present management accounts to clients.
- Prepare and submit client VAT returns and recap declarations.
Talablar
- Hold a full professional accountancy qualification.
- Have at least three years of local experience in a similar role.
- Payroll process knowledge is an advantage.
- Have a basic understanding of VAT regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and conversation.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Use standard office software, including Microsoft Office.
- Organise and prioritise work effectively, with strong time management.
- Submit a detailed CV in English.
