Opis

  • Plan and lead package design from concept through implementation, including schedules.
  • Optimize package pinouts, stack-ups, power distribution, and high-speed routing while balancing performance and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with silicon floor planning, signal integrity, and power integrity teams to support design quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with layout editors to deliver package designs that meet interface requirements.
  • Improve design methods and work with vendors to raise product quality and efficiency.
  • Develop innovative package solutions for Cisco’s next-generation ASICs.
  • Mentor engineers and collaborate across multifunctional teams.

Zahteve

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Understand high-speed signal design, power distribution networks (PDN), and PCB design.
  • Have experience with industry-standard EDA tools for layout and design.
  • Bring ASIC package design experience, including pinout optimization and high-speed routing.
  • Know silicon floor planning and signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) considerations.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead design improvements and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Have hands-on experience with testing and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes and TDR/VNA analyzers.
  • Communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
  • Have scripting experience with Python, Perl, TCL, or shell programming.
  • Have experience leading a team of designers.
