Opis

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape regulatory filings and strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop filings and strategies.
  • Coordinate with regulatory case teams to keep filings aligned with established strategies.
  • Prepare testimony for regulatory proceedings, administrative rulemaking, and legislative hearings.
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance work across assigned jurisdictions.
  • Draft, assemble, and edit regulatory case filings.
  • Explain complex issues clearly and shape effective messages.
  • Keep documents concise, organized, and consistent with style, tone, and formatting standards.
  • Stay current on Xcel Energy’s regulatory structure and operating environment.
  • Represent company positions with regulators and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and maintain document controls.
  • Gather and assess stakeholder feedback, incorporating it where appropriate.
  • Update senior leaders and internal partners on filings and regulatory issues.
  • Develop and advance regulatory and legislative policy positions.
  • Help draft and assess responses to discovery requests.
  • Create key messages and presentations for regulators, legislative committees, and internal audiences.
  • Collaborate across business areas and teams to deliver results.
  • Help witnesses prepare pre-filed testimony.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • Five to seven years of regulatory experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience handling regulatory filings required.
  • Occasional overnight travel and substantial overtime required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Prior customer engagement experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of utility generation processes and procedures preferred.
  • Familiarity with Southwest Power Pool interconnection processes preferred.
