Opis

  • Direct engineering teams across development, design, procurement, construction, handover, and operations.
  • Maintain engineering standards, optimize technical and economic performance, manage risks, and lead project teams.
  • Set engineering policies, standards, and methods.
  • Create team work plans, objectives, and performance measures.
  • Balance workloads and priorities across countries and projects.
  • Manage project engineers’ professional development and day-to-day performance.
  • Build onboarding and mentoring programs.
  • Create career development and progression pathways.
  • Hold regular performance reviews.
  • Lead technical due diligence and evaluate engineering risks for prospective projects.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and project purchases.
  • Lead assessments of energy yield, LCOE, CAPEX, and technology.
  • Review and approve engineering concepts and system designs.
  • Identify ways to lower CAPEX and improve project yield.
  • Lead value engineering and approve design freeze milestones.
  • Provide engineering input during RFP processes.
  • Assess OEMs, EPC contractors, and suppliers on technical criteria.
  • Contribute to technical and commercial negotiations.
  • Approve technical specifications and engineering contract requirements.
  • Track emerging technologies in solar PV, battery storage, and wind.
  • Maintain the company’s technology roadmap.
  • Run lessons-learned processes across projects.
  • Apply engineering best practices across global projects.
  • Oversee external engineering advisers, including owner’s and independent engineers, grid and environmental consultants, and technical advisers.
  • Approve engineering designs and technical solutions.
  • Approve technology and supplier choices from an engineering standpoint.
  • Approve external engineering consultants.
  • Approve engineering assumptions used in financial models.
  • Recommend whether to proceed with new projects based on engineering reviews.
  • Report to the VP of Engineering.

Zahteve

  • At least 10 years of experience in renewable energy.
  • At least 5 years leading engineering teams.
  • Substantial experience with utility-scale solar projects.
  • BESS project experience is required.
  • Wind energy experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with EPC, OEM, and project finance processes.
  • Experience working on projects in Europe.
  • Proficiency in PVsyst.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of grid connections.
  • Knowledge of high- and medium-voltage design.
  • Experience integrating BESS.
  • Experience with contractual engineering.
  • Experience conducting technical due diligence.
  • Experience with value engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Business acumen.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures.
