Descriere

  • Lead and develop a team of software engineers
  • Design and deliver secure, scalable satellite ground communications and data-transport services
  • Provide technical leadership across architecture, development, integration, and troubleshooting
  • Architect and implement cloud-native services on multi-tenant AWS platforms
  • Establish microservice patterns, integration approaches, and secure engineering standards
  • Build APIs, microservices, and backend platform capabilities
  • Support full-stack development through code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices
  • Manage staffing, performance reviews, career development, and daily team operations
  • Convert mission and system requirements into architectures, technical specifications, implementation plans, and priorities
  • Work with MBSE, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Test teams to maintain requirements alignment
  • Lead Python backend development for APIs, automation, data processing, and platform services
  • Guide user-interface and reusable frontend-component design and development
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
  • Lead software integration, deployment, and production support
  • Coordinate software integration with customers and mission partners
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps on CI/CD and operational tooling improvements
  • Diagnose and resolve complex software and production issues
  • Assess technical risks, architectural gaps, and dependencies and create mitigation plans
  • Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectures for secure U.S. Government mission environments

Cerințe

  • At least 12 years of professional experience
  • Minimum Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, and the ability to maintain the clearance
  • Proficiency in Python for backend systems and API development
  • Experience with microservices, backend services, and asynchronous messaging using PostgreSQL, Kafka, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Unix shell scripting
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing relational databases and SQL capabilities, including triggers, functions, and stored procedures
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization with RBAC, ABAC, OAuth 2.0, and JWT
  • Experience applying Zero Trust software development principles
  • Proficiency with modern frontend development using TypeScript and Vite
  • Experience with component-based architecture, state management, application routing, and responsive design
  • Experience using Git-based source control, GitHub, structured code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated test workflows
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in operational environments
  • Experience supporting deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • Working knowledge of PKI concepts
  • Experience delivering software on a major commercial cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with MBSE and Test engineering teams
  • Ability to present technical designs and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work with end-users to clarify requirements or support implementation
  • Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and frameworks as project needs evolve
