Descriere

  • Develop XMGR, SimCorp’s configuration management platform for SimCorp Dimension.
  • Build and maintain C#/.NET services and ASP.NET Core APIs.
  • Create resilient asynchronous workflows with clear error handling, safe retries, and actionable diagnostics.
  • Maintain configuration integrity when operations fail or are interrupted.
  • Strengthen security, authorization, audit trails, performance, and observability.
  • Investigate issues across application and integration boundaries.
  • Advance automated unit and integration tests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
  • Refactor legacy code in stages while maintaining compatibility and existing behavior.
  • Guide technical work through design discussions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with engineering, configuration, and platform teams to meet shared delivery standards.
  • Contribute across the stack, including Angular and TypeScript interfaces, Entity Framework Core, relational databases, messaging, and workflow processing.
  • Support deployments in cloud-hosted and on-premises environments.

Cerințe

  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Three to five years of experience building production software with C#/.NET.
  • Experience owning complex features and making well-founded technical decisions.
  • Experience developing ASP.NET Core services and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of API contracts, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and resilient error handling.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and suitable design patterns.
  • Ability to navigate, debug, and safely improve an established codebase.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core or a similar ORM.
  • Understanding of data modeling, validation, serialization, and schema compatibility.
  • Understanding of concurrency, retries, idempotency, and partial failures.
  • Ability to investigate issues using logs and telemetry.
  • Strong skills in automated unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with code reviews, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to clarify needs with domain stakeholders and work effectively in an Agile team.
  • Willingness to contribute to backend APIs and web interfaces as needed.
  • Ability to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and balance delivery with lasting quality.
  • Ability to collaborate constructively across cultures and disciplines.
  • Clear spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Angular and TypeScript experience, especially reactive programming with RxJS and state management such as NgRx, is an advantage.
  • Experience with configuration management or deployment automation systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging, OData APIs, Oracle or SQL Server, and OpenTelemetry is an advantage.
  • Experience with Azure, enterprise authentication and authorization, Docker or Kubernetes, and automated build and deployment pipelines is an advantage.
  • Experience modernizing .NET applications and familiarity with NUnit, NSubstitute, or comparable testing tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in enterprise or financial software is an advantage.
