Descriere

  • Create and support enterprise PKI, cryptography, and Data Security services.
  • Build capabilities using encryption, tokenization, digital certificates, signing, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, and key management.
  • Expand the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering for development, testing, reviews, documentation, troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Create AI-driven automation that detects operational problems, speeds root-cause analysis, performs remediation, and reduces repeat incidents.
  • Use AI agents and intelligent workflows to streamline recurring engineering and operational work and increase developer productivity.
  • Integrate applications and services with HashiCorp Vault, KMS, HSM, enterprise PKI, and certificate-management systems.
  • Develop secure APIs and microservices with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or comparable technologies.
  • Implement REST and SOAP integrations with secure authentication, authorization, and communication practices.
  • Build and run cloud-native services with Kubernetes, Docker, service mesh, and public or private cloud platforms.
  • Improve observability and proactive monitoring to detect and address failures before they become production incidents.
  • Promote engineering standards for secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, resilience, performance, and production readiness.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical design reviews while shaping Data Security engineering standards.
  • Mentor engineers and advise on PKI, cryptography, secure software development, cloud-native engineering, and AI automation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least seven years of professional software development experience.
  • At least two years leading software developers through technical mentoring and design guidance.
  • At least five years of experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • At least five years building APIs, microservices, or backend applications with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • At least five years developing or consuming REST and/or SOAP services.
  • At least two years working with GCP, AWS, Azure, or private or hybrid cloud environments.
  • At least two years using Kubernetes, Docker or other containerization, service mesh, or related cloud-native technologies.
  • At least two years developing solutions involving PKI, symmetric or asymmetric cryptography, encryption, tokenization, digital certificates, or cryptographic key management.
  • At least two years integrating services with HashiCorp Vault, KMS, HSM, or comparable secrets and key-management technologies.
  • Practical experience incorporating LLMs or Generative AI into applications, engineering processes, or operational automation.
  • Practical experience with AI agents, RAG, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, or comparable Generative AI patterns.
  • Experience using AI for incident detection, root-cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, observability, automated recovery, or related engineering and operations scenarios.
  • Must be eligible to work for American Express in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
